This past weekend Charles and I went camping at the North Oregon coast. Our boss and his wife invited us to go clamming and fishing with them (and some other people). I actually enjoyed clamming - it’s kind of like a scavenger hunt. Fishing is… meh. I’m not really a fan, plus I just felt really bad for the fish.
Here is a video Charles took of me clamming. This was from the first day and the clams really grossed me out (I did end up eventually touching some). Oh, and I totally did step on them.

Yesterday Charles opened the hen house to get the eggs that the hens laid and he discovered that Penny had died. He said that she had no wounds so she must have been sick or had something physically wrong with her. She always was the runt. We gathered up the rest of the chickens and gave her a proper burial. Yes, I do realize this makes me crazy but what can I say - I’m an animal lover.
So it finally happened… Charles and I combined our blogs! Why did we do this you may ask? Well, in the past year Charles has maybe updated his blog twice and I rarely updated mine. I felt like it was a bit overkill for us to both have our own blogs when we so rarely updated them.
My goal is to update more frequently now. I cannot promise that it’ll be at all interesting since let’s be real here - we are just a boring ‘ol married couple. But I will promise to post more frequently than I have in the past year. If it’s boring then simply refrain from clicking on over here. It’s a choice, ya know.
To see who wrote each post (if there is any confusion) then you can look below and it’ll either be in the ‘by Ronda’ or ‘by Charles’ category depending on who writes it.
Example: I, Ronda, wrote this entry. When you look below it says ‘by Ronda’. Expect more awesome tutorials in the coming months.
